Meet Pastor Sara

Pastor Sarah Pierce began with us as a Synodically Authorized Minister (lay pastor) in December 2020.  She graduated from Luther Seminary in June of 2021. She also loves to cook.  it’s one of her favorite ways to feed her soul and take care of her loved ones. She enjoys challenging herself by trying new recipes, and also likes to relax by making family favorites. She like to read, although thesPastor Sarah enjoys cooking – it’s one of her favorite ways to feed her soul and take care of her loved ones. She is passionate about extending Jesus’ welcome to all people. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, she believes that Jesus’ radical, inclusive welcome is truly meant for all, particularly those folks who have often been told that they are not welcome, or are only welcome if they conform to a certain standard. Instead, Pastor Sarah believes that the people who should be welcome at church are anybody who walks through the door. Just as they are.She is passionate about extending Jesus’ welcome to ALL people.
